Default Where the heck is droks?

Right now I just got past the ring of fire and I am on the second to last mission in the prophesies campaign, and I thought that you go to Droks earlier than that. Do any missions or quests take you there because I havent been there and I want to get better armor.

Droks is Droknar's Forge. If you missed that on your way to the Ring of Fire, I'm simply shocked.

It's in the Southern part of the Southern Shiverpeaks. After you've beaten Glint in Dragon's Lair, you are teleported to it, if I'm correct. But honestly, you couldn't have missed it, unless someone ran you from Beacon's Perch to the Iron Mines Mission or something, thereby skipping this town.

Me too, since thats where youre sent after the Dragons Lair mission... No idea how you mightve missed it, unless you got a run to/through Thunderhead Keep, maybe?

A] You got run. No denying it because its impossible to not have Droks if you played the game straight. This isnt a slating off, most people get run at some time.

B] However, you really ought to have a little intuition and look for a map mate. Theres tons on the internet, at least one in these very forums, and wose still you havent even bothered to type "droknars forge" into Google Images.

I... Have you... Did you do Thunderhead Keep and Ring of Fire without being infused and with less-than-max armor?

I hope it was all henched, 'cause I pity the poor monks who probably feel responsible for your early and frequent demise lol.

You do realize that the full name is "Droknars Forge", correct? It may be abbreviated to "droks" on the forum but that is the name of the town, in case that is confusing you.

If he's missing Droknar's Forge, he's probably missing most (or all) of Kryta, all of Maguuma, and all of the Crystal Desert. As others said, if you beat the Dragon's Lair mission, you're taking straight to Droknar's Forge.

Millard, the Ring of Fire contains the 23rd, 24th and 25th cooperative missions in Prophecies. If you've not done that many, I'd suggest you stop getting run everywhere, and start doing the quests to play the game linearly. This is exactly why Drok's runs should be completely closed off. (You can get max armor by LA, anyway. Just port to Kaineng and buy it there.)

Sofonisba, I did the entirety of the coop missions in Prophecies with Ascalon City armor. Pity those healers.

Unless you actively try to miss Droknar's Forge, you can't escape going there. Getting run takes you to Droks, going through the desert takes you to Droks. Something like that would require knowledge of the outpost to begin with, meaning you probably just got confused.

Well, getting run doesn't necessarily get you to Drok's. However, if you played through the desert, there's no way you could've missed Drok's.

you can just get a run to rancor, then to thk or iron mines. also, you can get max collectors armour from the desert without even being acended

I realize that, but it sounds a little far-fetched for someone who isn't even aware such runs exist.

Droks is probably the most important place in Tyria next to ToA. To think you've missed it is............ sad.........
